I haven't looked at them all, as the internet connection keeps timing out leaving lots of red crosses for me. What showed up, looks like a fun night out :)

Looks like you need to turn off high speed sync or something, as it's acting like a strobe gun not a single flash, so your getting multiple ghosts of the car as it's firing multiple times at lower power.

Trying to get this on one exposure may give transparent ghost sections of the car, so. Rear curtain sync (so the light trails from car lights go behind the car ) and a single flash would give a bright car, but a dark background. A second exposure without the car, to expose for the background and blend the two after altering the white balances a bit.

we did but wasnt just a camera we used :p
Pics look good mate, I love my ghost car :D :D :D

How do you do that with those light effects?

I know my avatar has it too but that was done with an android app..

Yeah I know what your saying Neil. But I actually didn't have a flash gun, I was using a separate DSLR Body so Not as bright as a specific flash gun. Which I will soon be purchasing, especially for the drive by shots, so you get the light stream and then a perfectly static car with no ghosting

Most of the shots where composed by a DSLR On a BULB length timer so we could control the length of shot, from "30 to1"30 length, using chicken and an iPhone torch to draw the lines, then with a separate DSLR body walking over the cars and giving multiple flashes. Ideally you would use one flash on each car with a flash gun.

a simple version:
1) my friend pressed and held the picture button to open the shutter
2) I ran around like a loon with a iPhone to get the white squiggly lines
3) James walked along with another camera and used the flash to light up the cars
4) friend let go of shutter button and hey presto you get pics like that
