Why did he not want to make the modification?

They come bolted on and all you do is insert them through the hole and bolt them up...? Obviously the positioning will vary but as long as you take it to a garage that can do that for you...?
 
no you have to cut out the suport of top mount, construct a new part and weld it
renault don't sell this part
you hae to buy the full body with roll cage to go it


the guy didn't want to cut the body so he construct is own support that fit with OEM body
 
wep I bouth them but finally not use them (for the moment)

same problem as yotha so probably I will do that latter with roll cage

So juste R2 shock for the moment

I save money for R2 shock on the rear
 
finally no update cause R2 dont exist anymore

anyway a picture I take after track day
the shock bottle detached so I move it ot an over place (also cause I couldnt close properly the wheel arch) (that the new place before locking it in)

If you mean the grey coloured thing in your latest picture. It looks like an ABS pump to me, I could be wrong though.
