hey guys this is my engine bay at the minute,

to fit an aftermarket cone filter for example a single green cone do i just remove the current airbox and put the cone into the silicone pipe and put a jubilee clip around it ..?

You don't need to but it will help. If you have been in slow trafic and the engine bay temp gets hot, the engine will be breathing hot air for a while... Hot air means less power and the filter being behind the radiator will always be getting slightly warmed air even when your moving

Getting cooler air in as quickly as possible is going to be good unless that air is full of water and road crap, so be carefull where you position the cold air feed ;)

wat size cone filter would you go for 150mm length or 200mm lenght..?

and where would you put your cold feed tubing from and too?.
