Just read though this entire thread from start to finish this morning. (well, hopefully more to come, so not finished yet!)

Mind = Blown

 you were borred then

This modding game certainly keeps you fit. I spent my morning with a three hour walk into and around town.

Bit of exercise won't hurt, also no fuel costs= more money for mods ;)

New clutch and thinking about forged internals would be my bet surely she can't take much more power
Theres a boosted K4M clio running 180 on a standard bottom end. He has bent rods with higher boost going above 200 but the torque would have been higher than NA.

MSA B license and a couple of sprints/hillclimbs could be on the cards. Its not going to be a full on stripped out track slag

I haven't been able to watch it due to the rig internet, but Simon from SC sent me this link.

sound nice this ecu

for the clutch I didn't fallow every thing but dou you have plan ?

a french guy that run 250.000 Km on is T133 as his cluck broken at 150.000 km

so I'm thiking to improve mine for my new engine that I will start next year (and I start from bottom so need imediatly the final cluctch :O )

Ive always been light on my cluches and there were no problems with it. The bodies shouldnt change it too much, so I'm not expecting any issues in the short term. That may change when I start hill climbing and sprinting :?

not so much twingo reach 250.000 km ^^ but this story of the guy that as broken is clutch can be a warning ^^ (also he have no problem at all appart from this one)

do you think this clutch can fit ? https://www.clutch-specialists.co.uk/stage-3-kit-for-renault-clio-mk-3-2001-14i--and--16i-all-models_p23369932.htm

(clio 1.6)

Clio GT, uses the same 1.6 K4M 800 series engine. However, I think the gearbox is 6-speed so the clutch may be different. I haven't looked into it yet

The gearbox is indeed 6 speed, not sure on the same clutch or not. The clios clutch is a lot lighter on the pedal than the twingos but dunno if this is because the clutch is different or just the way the card are setup different.

neil the diameter of the clio's clutch is 220 wheras the twingo 133's clutch is 215, also from memory the pressure plates are rather different too. i'll leave the real snooping to you though as a christmas present :p

Edited for a accuracy ;)

Thanks anyway, as that confirmed what I suspected :)

it could be very intersting also cause no limited lsd on the gear box of twingo are available
gearbox from clio rs would be a great inprovment (but seem's renault don't manage to put it inside)

Roll on January :?

The Dini ended up arriving at RS Tunning at a time when Paul and Specky were busy with other jobs and some holiday time on the cards (Has anyone else seen their steel crankshaft finally arrived after nearly a years wait, for a mental Meg engine build). They werent able to get onto it untill last Thursday, to see what was needed. Now, the pedle is getting made and Paul has been on the case, sorting bits for the filter and vacuum lines... Plus a fair bit of swearing with lack of space and a brake cylinder being where he wants to run the throttle cable :x

Unfortunately, there was no way it was going to be ready for today and I'm away to work tomorrow for another three week trip...So, the trip down to Leeds will have to wait untill the new year :(

Bbbbrrraaaapppppp

Train ticket booked for tomorrow :)

Now then, which are better... tights or stockings?

Still needing an air filter. But finding one that fits is a problem and theres going to be some playing about with intake lengths so the filter space may have changed anyway :? So 100 denier strainer to keep any larger bits of crud out and a leisurely drive back tomorrow.

^ what he said.

Worst case, pull your dirty socks over them
