Just installed some led bulbs in my sidelights and they look good so thought I'd do the same with my number plate lights. When I switched them on my fuse blew? The bulbs are the error free canbus type and don't cause any problems when they are installed in the interior lights but have blown the 10 amp fuse when I've tried them in the number plate lights??
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

I had the same problem. A single led bulb to replace the w5w sidelight was fine- no canbus error. But I tried a five led version (which was brighter ) but it blew the fuse, I assumed it was just drawing too much current. Went back to single led and it was fine.

I reckon this is probably just random incidents: I've got an 20 LED w5w in each sidelight and it's fine :)
