I'm looking at getting one made in leather to match the dash pod I had covered and need to send off the original so it can be used as a pattern, can't figure how it comes off, don't want to damage anything.

Can anyone help please?

Thanks Oscar but can't get it to work doesn't like tapatalk or apple :D

just remove the gearstick plastic moulding, unclip it out. give the gear knob a good hard pull upwards and it will come off eventually ... remove gator and surround :)

Got it off today, nearly knock myself out when it came off!!!! :( :D

Under the gear shift cover i've found a brown electric cable connector held in plastic base and not connected to anything. Why? Is for some optional stuff?

Probably for an auto, which the uk doesn't have any but the wiring is still there

Got this back from Steve at Edge Automotive, great job as always, nicely matches the dash now :)

I might have to get in contact with this dude.

I want my speedo cover done in leather with white stitching.
