front mount

Anyone know where I can get a front mount intercooler for my twingo gt? Or know what and where to get the parts to do it from?

this is the baddy you'll need. if it's good enough for big powered hondas, then it'll be fine on a twingo gt...plus, it looks pretty mean! then you'll need some 2.5 inch piping with a 2 inch reducer (2.5 inch to 2 inch reducer) to join the whats it called. MY MINDS WENT BLANK! OHHHH EMMM GEEEEE

sure does man, has a special thermal paint on it. remember that shiny, polished metal surfaces don't conduct heat very well. not as good as a special thermal paint will anyway so it's not just for show!!!!

i thought it the mishimoto z line didn't fit and you had to customise a whole new crash bar or w/e you want to call it? shouldn't be recommending it to folk unless you want to look like a penis callum

yep, assumed it would fit dude but callum said it didn't fit his car and needed some modification ... then next thing i know he's got a new crash bar, i'm not sure if that was the result of an accident he had with his front end (unless i got the wrong idea when he mentioned something along those lines a couple months back??) if he damaged the crash bar and made this tubular bar to replace the damaged original crash bar??

Heres a little info on mine

mine measures 700mm in length 140mm in hight and 50mm in width, just been out to check and I think the inlet and outlet is around 55mm. I used 51mm piping and I had to stretch the silicone coupler over the intercool so its a guess when I say 55mm

that's why i'm in the process of making my own intercooler to custom fit the GT without any bumper cutting, so it will be a reduced height. beautiful tig welds porn! they'll come as a full kit ready to install on the GT

The new crash bar was the result of the crash however it actually gives slightly more room between it and the subframe than the standard crash bar does. So if it doesn't fit my car, it won't fit yours :/
