For such an enjoyable car, handling, engine note etc, with the niggles and warranty hassle I had, 8 months ownership was long enough for me and the Gordini 133. (Leaking scuttle, rattling seat runners, new lower arms reqd due to perished mounts, new aux belt etc)

Only thing i miss is the engine note with the bung removed. Thats all. And Im not pining for that to be fair as I have vtec wailing off the limiter most days now lol.

Bizarre cos Ive had renaultsport Clios (172/182) since 2005 and the 182 is still going so well that we have no intention of selling it, Ive had a full service, top mounts, brembo discs and pads, aux belt and a new set of tyres.

So much easier to live with day to day than the Twingo.
Still think the Twingo was a great handling little machine though.
