Facelift Chrome Spotlight Bezel

I'm just trying to work out which looks better, a chrome bezel, a black one or I'm considering a carbon fibre one. The reason for the question is I found that the black bezel's fitted originally to the car suffer badly with stone chips, as it's painted on to chrome and it chips off once hit. So I did put some chrome one's back on which look OK but I'm not sure, the other consideration is to have the two existing black ones carbon fibre dipped and clear coated (Should be a better more resistant finish than paint), so looking for some thoughts:

I have got a bit of a carbon fibre theme going on so I'm wondering if going with the carbon fibre dip is going to be too much.
