    Add oil temperature

Scan gauge is only a model value, not real measured. Better use a real sensor. I used the oil filter housing of the K9K engine (1.5dci). You can simply install the temperature sensor with an adapter for the sensor´s thread where the pressure switch is located, or you install there a pressure...

    K4M turbo

Twingo RS compression ratio (11,1:1) is higher than of standard K4M engines (9,8:1), so maybe you should use their pistions. And also the intake manifold is different, as the Twingo rs has the throttle at the side. So plug´n´play not, but with some adaptations it should. Also they offer some...

    Paint code protective stripes?

Hello, does anybody here know the paint code of the protective stripes of doors and bumpers of The MéganeII? I'm speaking of the bright grey ones like the luxe and dynamique versions had. I'm sure it's a IXELL code... Thanks a lot.

    How do i make a 1.2 faster.

O.K., but I think the costs wont be that high to give it a try... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Clio-MK3-2005-2009-1-2-16v-Exhaust-Manifold-Mani/171041210301 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Clio-MK3-2009-2012-1-2-16v-Exhaust-Manifold-Mani/181147661487...

    How do i make a 1.2 faster.

@Spitfire1 Did you already think about using the exhaust manifold of the ClioIII/Modus? I think with adaptations on the hose towards the catalyst, it should be possible to fit. short long It has bigger single hose lengths, so maybe this could improve torque at low and mid range.

    How do i make a 1.2 faster.

I think the engine has got potential....in Brasil with E100 they get out 80hp and 105mkg of torque....from the D4D, the 999ccm variant. Scaled up to the D4F this would mean 92hp and 120mkg out of a OEM engine...

    Short shifter 172/182 ? Twingo

ClioII is using a JC5 gear-box, the TwingoII GT the JH3 and the RS the JR5. The difference is that the Clio operates the gearbox by a shift rod, the TwingoII uses a shift cable.

    Engine

The biggest difference between the K4M-856 of the Twingo RS and the K4M-862 of the Clio GT is, that the Clio engine has a lower compression ratio (9.8 like the normal K4M) and the Twingo engine has a compression ratio of 11. Normally you can easy distinguish the engines, the flange between...

    k-tec manifold

By the way, I have seen that the spanish company RC-Racing ( https://www.rcracing.es/ ) now also offers a sports manifold for the Twingo 133. Looks a little bit like a clone of the K-tec version. I havn´t found any picture of the KCE371 on the their homepage, but here you can see it...

    300mm discs conversion

O.K. the R2´s might be a better choice but if they are cheaper I doubt. I speak of those: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Renault-Espace-MK3-Passengers-Side-Front-Brake-Caliper-6284-2-/171314794189 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2000-Renault-Espace-V6-Right-Hand-Front-Caliper-/330710550040 This guy...

    300mm discs conversion

It´s only 54mm. Previously I wanted also to go for the EspaceIII two-pot calipers, that are more or less equal to the 57mm one-pot ones (like Twingo RS), but then I would have also to change to a bigger master cylinder not to increase the pedal way. And honestly said, my Mégane has only the 1.6...

    300mm discs conversion

The disc has 24mm. It's a 2005 phase1 grand tour with the Bosch calipers. It came out of factory with 280mm discs and I did the 300mm conversion already some years ago when I have installed still the standard discs and pads.

    300mm discs conversion

These wheels are ATS "Sky" in 9x16 with an off-set of 30mm. They are (as far as I know) beside the AZEV Type E and Type F the only wheels in this size that fit over the 300mm brake without additional spacers. The wheels are painted in Ford graphite grey by myself. I know that I could also have...

    300mm discs conversion

I just installed 300mm Zimmermanns (470.2423.52) with ATE ceramic pads to my Mégane. It´s a nice and smooth combination. Maybe not the sportiest, but nearly no dust.

    16" 182 Alloys - Tyre Choice

The offset of the 182 wheels depends on the colour. The silver ones are et48, the anthracite ones that came with the cup-pack are et45.

    will these fit please ET49 6.5J X16"

Regarding ETRTO the 205/40 is only allowed on 7,0" to 8,0". About rimprotection, it depends mainly on your tire brand. Look at this Toyo T1-R in 185/50R16 mounted on a 8,0" rim, the rim still does not protrude: www.tyrestretch.com/8.0_185_50_R16/
