Depends if he wants a cup or not. A few place don't know the difference so that's. Start also to drive it And make sure all feels ok.

There's not really to much to look our for because there not really old cars all I would say I'd get a check done to make sure I'm not been written off before or has finance left on the car from the previous owner

tell him / her theres a red one going cheap ;)

like karl says, make sure all is straight, look for signs of abuse and apart from that, all should be ok

Theres been a few posts about>>>

exhaust rusting early, split center box. Pin hole leak from manifold.

I think people have had all the above rectified as waranty claims, although, that would depend on the age/mileage and the selling garage for an older car

The state of the rims will give an indication of how carefull the driver was. Don't be put off if it has good quality 205/40/17 fitted as they have better avaliability and protect the rims much better than the standard 195/40/17... although theres some cheap ditch finders which would probably be a step backwards through a hedge

Of late, the main ones have been>>

Water leaking down into the spark plug area from the windscreen scuttle.

Front suspension lower balljoint rubbers perishing which was probably the cause of the thread about knocking in the post above.

Replacement arms with the --A markings seem to be lasting better...
