Hi

I'm on the lookout for a RS Twingo, but I don't really want to exceed my budget of 3k. The majority of cars in that price range have a mileage of 70k+. Should I be aware of any particular faults that are liable to arise, or work that should be carried out on a car with so many miles? I've owned a Megane R26 and a Clio 172 in the past, and from what I remember, the main thing to watch for on those was the aux and timing belt needing changing. Is that still the case?

Any help is appreciated.
Cheers:)

Yeah still the same on the twingo really you want the belts to have been done or for the price to reflect if it hasn’t been done yet. Some other service history is always good too. I’ve had two for almost four years and not had many problems with them apart from wheel bearings, pretty solid cars in my opinion.

There’s some cheap ones about lately so should be able to find one easy enough
