So guys I’ve been having a think about my twingo. I’m not sure weather to carry on upgrading it or to buy a different car.

My car:
Twingo GT 1.2T

Current mods:
Monza RS alloys
K&N air filter
Straight pipe exhaust (Still have the cat near the manifold)
Front mount intercooler
Manual boost control
Boost gauge
Lowering springs
Black badges
Battery relocation
Stage 2 Clutch
Lots more little bits but they are the mains

Mods I’m considering doing next (In order)
182 injectors
Remap
Coilovers

So I’m wondering if it’s going to be worth me spending even more money on it. I hear the internals can take around 150-160BHP. Does anybody know if anyone has exceeded that BHP mark and what sort of 0-60 time I’m looking at? Or maybe what other mods can be suggested. I’m not going to even bother forging it as in my eyes it’s a waste of time for a 1.2. I may as well get a bigger engined car that it’s internals can take a lot more. I want a car that I can get below 0-60 in under 6 (maximum)

I’ve been looking around at cars and I’ve been considering a few
Audi A4 Avant
Honda Civic EP3 (Not a VTEC nut so it will be turbo converted )
Mazda mps 3

What’s everyone opinions on what I should do? I’ve spent enough time and money on the twingo but am I actually going to gain a lot? The top end is absolutely s**t. I’ve had 126 out of it and that was down a hill.

Think if your looking to drive fast you should maybe look at track days with your car. 0-60 times are a load of s**t and unless your in Germany you can only do 70mph anyway.

I do track days currently. How is a 0-60 time a load of s**t? Also just cause I’m from England doesn’t mean imma be sitting at 70 all my life! I wouldn’t be upgrading my car if I wanted to drive at 70.

You just come across like you want to race on the road and I have seen enough of people doing that and hurting them self or others due to speed and lack of car control. If you want to go fast buy something faster. A Twingo gt even with mods will get blown into the weeds by a lot of things. Just go buy Megan 225/250.

Yeah I’m more of a street racing person. Oh don’t get me wrong I’ve had races with stupid s**t like a Astra Vxrs, subie wrx Obviously got s**t on but compared to most young drivers in the 1/1.6litres car it keeps up with most on low gears. Im hoping after a map I’ll be able to see what sort of bhp I can get it to but want to make it worth the map hence all the re mods
