Hi Folks,
Is there an easily reachable grounding point near the fuse box in a MK2? Trying to hook up my dash cam. Thanks for your help in advance!

You could drill anywhere into the metalwork, or take a feed from the 10A cigarette lighter maybe - that's where I wired my heated seat in. The fusebox itself is pretty ramjam with very little room for play. If you manage to fabricate a + and - source let me know as I'm keen to wire in a few things too - LED lights (interior) being one as well as a permanent feed for my dashcam :)

There’s an earth point under the gear knob trim part, you have to remove the whole thing though buts it’s pretty simple.

Under that bit! Or yeah you can drill into the chassis and make you’re own, depends how comfortable you are.
