I'm trying to replace the stock headunit in my Silverstone as I want DAB, but got a bit confused in what adapter I need to get to standard ISO. Have searched about and seems to be a couple of options, the clearest seems to be this:
https://incartec.co.uk/renault/2041/1033/2049/radio/Browser.aspx
But that's £70 on top of the headunit and fascia.

I've also seen this metioned:
https://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/autoleads-pc99-x12-renault-clio-megane-laguna-steering-wheel-stalk-adaptor
But the adapter doesn't look right compared to what I've got to connect to.

And then there's this:
https://www.incaremporium.com/connects2-renault-twingo-stereo-radio-wiring-harness-adapter-lead-p-705.html
Which seems the most straightforward but am I right in thinking that I'll lose the steering wheel controls?

The headunit I've got is bluetooth enabled so I'm not worried about losing that, and to be honest if it's going to cost an extra £50+ then I'm not too bothered about the steering wheel stalk....I just wanted to be sure I was going along the right lines because I've had a few beers and got confused :D

If you're not bothered about your steering controls, the standard loom will plug into any new head unit.

I can confirm this, because I fitted a new head unit today and the standard loom plugged straight into the ISO block on the Pioneer stereo, just does away with the display by the clock and steering controls. So no extra cost involved. :)

If you dont need the steering wheel control than a standard iso connector for your sony is what you need you schould recive it with the unit, and you will need a iso to fakra if you want fm radio

I haven't got normal ISO connectors to the car, it's quadlock or some such bollocks. As long as the DAB is as good as it is in my Focus then I don't need FM. Am waiting on delivery of a quadlock to ISO adapter, hopefully it'll do the job.

Have you pulled the jacks from the radio.
Then i have a 2013 my frend has a 2010 and my uncle a 2009 they all have the same connectors

Yeah funnily enough in trying to change the radio over taking the jacks out the existing unit was one of the first things I did. It's not a standard ISO, I've changed enough headunits to know when I need an adapter, it's just working out which adapter I needed as it seems not all Twingos are the same. I've got one on the way now though, should be sorted by the end of the week.
