So yes I did have an Extreme Blue 133 at one point (NA60 XJZ for anyone on here who might have it now?), and I miss it dearly. Easily the best handling car I've ever driven and even if slightly underpowered sometimes, an absolute hoot to drive.

Then some of you might remember my Mk5 Ibiza Cupra facelift that I replaced the Twingo with:-

...which until I traded it in a few weeks ago, ended up looking like this...

until I replaced that with the current boat... Brand new Mercedes C250 CDI AMG Sport Coupe w/ Premium Plus pack (COMAND system inc. sat nav etc, heated seats & pan roof)

And a wee shot at work with some real machines in the background... :geek:

I feel bad saying this but I already miss the buzz and the performance of a hot hatch... It's by no means a slouch (it has 201bhp & 369lb ft torque) but when you boot it it doesn't quite make a big song and dance about it in the same way the Seat did. Other than this it's a beautiful machine and the mpg's are great :D

Ooooooooo someone now looks classy as hell ;)

Great cars the C250 CDI. Seriously comfy and they're easy to drive long distances. One of my friends who's a medical rep drives one and has already driven 60K (in a year a half) and it hasn't missed a beat!

If you want a hot hatch, why not buy a clio 182 as a weekend toy ;)

It's funny to see how people evolve/change with their cars.

I'm feeling too young though to be driving a Mercedes yet :D

Spent more than the value of the car in repairs in less than 2 years, 80,000 miles ecu fault, turbo springs front and back due to snapping/broken mounts, 2 exhaust brackets, rear brakes duff, handbrake sticking on (specialist couldn't help) problem with the gearbox not changing up, takes 15+ seconds to change into drive from neutral, DPF clogged although the car only drove 80+ miles at a time, mercedes did address the reliability issues and claimed to address them, looking at the build on the modern cars and talking to the specialists this does seem apparent, changes to turbos, gearbox, quality of parts used etc, happy you have warranty too, you have a truly stunning car right there and you won't want to get rid of it

Nothing quite matches the mercedes cruising experience without blowing the budget
