    Brief introduction

Hoi Gert-Jan, Welcome here! Nice (trackday) modifications you have, i'm also using my RS regularly on track here in Holland but also use it as a daily. It's always funny how people at first underestimate the Twingo Rs on trackdays and then wonder why they can't shake off that silly little car...

    Wheels weight

The 17 inch Cup wheels are really heavy, around 12 kg (only rim). I do not know what the 16 inch Sport wheels weigh.

    What exhausts are people using?

Please notice that TS has a Twingo GT, so comparing it with the sound of an Twingo RS exhaust sytem is useless because totally different engine.

Brake upgrade advice for track days!

This is true for some racing pads but i can assure you that the Carbon Lorraine RC6 do not need any warmup, even ice-cold they brake like hell. They also scream like hell... :-) so you have to keep that in mind when you are not using them on a race track.

Brake upgrade advice for track days!

Some more info: I also used the Ferodo ds2500 pads on track and was very disappointed with them. They are nowhere near the performance of the Rc6 pads, i use the ds2500 only for road now. So: rc6, steel brake lines, hc discs and good brake fluid (Castrol SRF in my case) and some brake cooling...
