I like to think of myself as a layman indulged in the idea of refining his expressing skills, thus freeing his fustigating thoughts to live their meaning. I hail from the remote and dispossessed Cape Verde Islands; “perhaps” the volcanically expulsed petite peninsulas lying lost on the peaceful turquoise bed of the Atlantic, a place I so proudly call home, amid the emotive clouds of nostalgia.
